PAN Lab

Teams

A PAN Lab team builds a model of an AI deployment together. Members can start from one of the Lab's nine network structures, from a case study, or from a blank canvas.

Each member works on their own copy of the team's network and offers changes to it. The team decides, change by change, what enters the shared network.

Teams need an account, so the team knows who wrote what. Sign in or create an account

For social workers joining a team

The PAN Lab is not a client record system. Do not write anything that could identify a client, a patient, or anyone you serve.

The site stores what you add to a team: your notes, stories, hopes and concerns, network changes, and responses to decisions. It also stores what you tell the team about yourself, such as your organization and what you know.

Every member of the team can read what you add, except three things. Your variants stay private until you share them. Your hopes and concerns stay private until the team reveals them all at once. Notes written in a party's private space stay with that party.

The team keeps a log of what happened, such as who changed the shared network and when. Its owner and admins read that log, and nobody can delete a line of it while the team exists.

You can withdraw your own notes, stories and hopes and concerns at any time, and a marker says a contribution was withdrawn. Changes the team accepted into the shared network stay in its history.

When you delete your account, you leave every team. When a team is deleted, everything it holds is deleted with it, its log included.

The PAN Lab is forming an advisory group to help judge whether teams hear every member. Read about the advisory group
